Can Do! believes that, in our community, anything is possible. Its diverse, welcoming membership creates an environment that awakens the imagination and invigorates a spirit of collaboration and generosity among community members, youth, entrepreneurs and leaders to transform the wonder of small town possibilities into realities.

Can Do! Celebrates Progress

Charlotte's Can Do! organization celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2008 and is looking forward to a second great decade in this community.

Can Do! is a community organization welcoming participation from individuals, businesses, local governments, non-profit organizations, service clubs, student groups, and other community stakeholders. All meetings are free of charge and open to the public.

Can Do! is the fastest and easiest way to get involved in community projects, to learn more about the area, to network with others and make your ideas count in Charlotte.

General membership meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7 a.m. in the Spartan Room of the Charlotte Community Library. Coffee and a light breakfast are provided.

General meetings give Can Do! members the chance to network, share information, and hear enlightening presentations from a wide range of guest speakers.

Can Do! also supports a number of dynamic committees actively pursuing community projects. There is almost certainly a Can Do! committee working on a project that would capture your interest and benefit from your talents.

Various Can Do! committees are currently working in the following special interest areas: community generosity and charitable giving, energizng local entrepreneurship, leadership development & mobilization, attracting & retaining young people, improving local walkability & supporting non-motorized transportation, and community marketing.
